Converted into a mosque during the Umayyad dynasty, it once again became a Roman Catholic church following the Spanish Reconquista and remains the Cathedral of the diocese of Cordoba to this day. | Day 6 | SITGES | SEVILLE - BARCELONA - SITGES (3 NIGHTS): Spend the morning exploring the city on your own and shopping for souvenirs. This afternoon, transfer to Seville airport for a short flight to Barcelona. From Barcelona, transfer to your hotel in the resort town of Sitges for a three-night stay. A small city about 35 kilometers southwest of Barcelona, renowned for its Film Festival and Carnival, Sitges sits between the hills and the sea, and is known for its popular beaches, nightspots, and historical sights. The museum houses an important collection of modern paintings, ceramics, glass, furniture, woodcarvings - objects which were created and collected by Rusinol throughout his life. This afternoon drive to Barcelona for a sightseeing tour with your expert Local Guide, which includes Gaudi's fantastic architecture.
